Data Visualisation: Italian expat in EU
Being myself an expat and coming from a family with a history of emigration (as basically most people in Italy), I've always found interesting the numbers and the trends of emigration.
In this project I focused on developing my visual vocabulary, which is something I am not comfortable with as I believe data visualisations should be as straightforward as possible. However, I thought I had to go a bit outside my confort zone and try to detach a little bit from the standard data visualisation styles that you learn while doing a scientific degree, and instead I tried to get in touch with my own creative side.
